Ray Taylor is a knowledge intermediary specialising on land-atmosphere interactions and semi-arid regions. He coordinates LARI (the Land-Atmosphere Resilience Initiative) which collates meteorology, hydrology and economics, prepares info on datasets, and creates cross-discipline collaboration with a focus on implementation in the field and famine prevention. He also works on HFCs and HCFCs (very potent greenhouse gases, mainly emitted from refrigeration and car air-conditioning) and a global resource manual for low-carbon green growth for newly appointer ministers and civil servants new to sustainability issues.
In the past Ray has worked on emissions reductions, and continues to support a behaviour change project: "Helping people enjoy choosing to fly less often."
